A function contained within a telemetry system that, on receipt of a signal, causes a particular camera to pan (left to right), tilt (up and down) and zoom (lens) to a predetermined field of view. Most systems can accommodate up to 16 pre-set positions for each camera. This is an especially useful feature on larger systems with alarmed areas.
The pre-positioning of pan, tilt and zoom cameras by the use of potentiometers in the moving parts of the camera head. These allow the control equipment to store and move to a set reference point when the controller dictates or when an alarm exists. Special telemetry equipment is required.
This is a quick and convenient way of remembering and applying groups of settings to multiple playitems. You will find the presets on the "size" controls. Set a playitem up with the the right size, zoom, alignment, border etc then save it as a preset (1 to 6). You can then instantly apply the same settings to any other playitem.

These are ready-made sounds for lazy talentless people who can't be bothered to make their own. Instead they just press the button and use the preset. Synthesizer manufacturers hated such people, and so tended to make all their presets sound really crap, just to make the folk that used them sound dreadful. This happened a lot in The Eighties.
Presets are the users saved charts. They are also known as sessions in some applications. They record everything about the chart saved including lines, time period, instrument, oscillators, studies and text.
Initial default attributes you specify for new accounts you create using Server Manager. You can use presets only during account creation.
