Definitions for "Plagiocephaly"
Oblique lateral deformity of the skull.
A deviation from the usual symmetry of the head shape. This is caused when the bones of the skull close together in an unusual manner.
asymmetric (twisted) skull. Most commonly, the forehead suture closes prematurely (unilateral coronal synostosis). There is also deformational or non-synostotic plagiocephaly.
