Definitions for "Paratrooper"
a soldier in the paratroops
Paratroopers are soldiers trained in parachuting and generally operate as part of an airborne force. Paratroopers offer a tactical advantage as they can be inserted into the battlefield from the air, thereby allowing them to be positioned in areas not accessible by land. This ability to enter the battle from different locations allows paratroopers to evade fortifications that are in place to prevent attack from a specific direction, and the possible use of paratroopers forces an army to spread their defenses to protect other areas which would normally be safe by virtue of the geography.
A Paratrooper also known as an "Umbrella Ride" is a type of fairground ride based on cars suspended below a wheel which rotates at an oblique angle. The cars are free to rock sideways and swing out under centrifugal force and the wheel rotates. Invariably, the cars on a paratrooper have an umbrella or other shaped canopy above the riders.

A sleekly modified version of the SKS who's prominent feature is a shortened barrel. Although it has a military sounding name, this type of SKS is strictly commercial and was never issued as a military rifle. Paratroopers are just as accurate as they were when they were full sized military rifles, but the shortened barrel negatively impacts muzzle velocity so the projectile will loose some of it's energy downrange. The bayonet from a full sized SKS can fit on a paratrooper, but is too long to fold. Shorter bayonets have been made for this popular commercial variant, but they're so short it's almost silly looking when extended. It could put an eye out, but that's about all a paratrooper bayonet can do
