Definitions for "Overlays"
Items that enable you to display all types of cartographic layers on the map. In an overlay, you can control the color, classification method, data referenced, and the cartographic layer displayed. Any changes to the map display are made using overlays. To see a list of overlays on the map, select Map Overlays.
