Definitions for "Noun Phrase"
A phrasal constituent which contains at least a noun, which is the head of the phrase. It may contain other constituents, such as Determiner and Adjective Phrase (before the noun) and Prepositional Phrase (following the noun). When the noun is a singular count noun there has to be a determiner, otherwise all of these are optional constituents in the Noun Phrase.
