Definitions for "NLV"
An abbreviation for ational anguage ersion. OS/2 is translated into many languages, and these are known as National Language Versions. In fact, IBM tend to treat this term as if it said 'non US version'; products are viewed as a US English version, and also National Language Versions.
national language version. For the primary language, the running code and textual data for each licensed program ordered. For the secondary language, the textual data for all licensed programs. See also multilingual support and national language support (NLS).
