Newbiggin, near stainton, is situated along the southern coast of the Furness peninsula. Although it is only classed as a hamlet residentially, it remains the smallest settlement in the world that is under the rulership of a king. King Daniel Middleton I (Tronicus Middicus), remains current ruler of the coastal site and has done so for over 5 years.
