Definitions for "Natural Foods"
Whole foods; foods grown or processed with a minimum of refining, additives, preservatives, hormones, chemical fertilizers, or pesticides; often but not necessarily organic.
These foods are minimally processed and contain no artificial colors, flavorings, preservatives or sweeteners.
This term generally refers to food or food products which are minimally processed and remain as close as possible to their whole, original state. Because they are less tampered with, natural foods are generally more nutritious than their refined counterparts.
