Metal Removal Rate. The rate at which material is removed from the workpiece by EDM. In the U.S., usually expressed in cubic inches/hour (in/hr).
Metal removal rate. In electric discharge machining, the metal removal rate, also called machining rate, is dependent on the energy of the electrical discharges (sparks). Accordingly, the amount removed can be between one and several thousand cubic millimeters a minute. In milling, MRR is dependent on the rotational speed of the spindle, the feed rate and the material being machined.
Monthly Rental Rate. The rate at which a given number of impressions are sold at, over the time span of a month.
MATERIAL RECEIVED REPORT. A copy (green) of the Purchase Order, which when released by the school, serves as proof of satisfactory and complete.
