For EEO official reporting purposes and for purposes of the workforce analysis required in Revised Order No. 4, the term "minority" includes: Black, not of Hispanic Origin. A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa. Hispanic. A person of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Central or South American or other Spanish culture or origin, regardless of race. Asian and Pacific Islander. A person having origins in any of the original people of the Far East, Southeast Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, or the Pacific Islands. This area includes, for example, China, Japan, Korea, the Philippine Islands and Samoa. American Indian and Al askan Native. A person having origins in any of the original people of North America and who maintains cultural identification through tribal affiliation or community recognition.
Minorities includes Hispanic, African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Native American, Other Races and Multi-Racial households. Hispanics may be of any race.
Men and women of those minority groups for whom EEO 1 reporting is required; i.e., Black, Hispanic, Asian or Pacific Islander, American Indian or Alaskan Native.
