network topology in which every device can communicate with any other device that's within range. Mesh networking is particularly interesting for bringing wireless network access to an entire neighborhood.
A net-like network configuration where at least two paths exist to all stations.
network in which redundant links exist between multiple computers so that the network has a weblike topology. Contrast with bus network, ring network, and star network.
a decentralised and inexpensive form of radio communication technology, developed by the US military so its special forces can communicate behind enemy lines
a local area network (LAN) that employs one of two connection arrangements, full
an ad hoc, peer-to-peer network that continues to function even if some of its nodes die
an area network whereby users are connected to each other without the need for a central communications hub
a networking technique which allows inexpensive peer network
a network of secure wireless stations, each node of which automatically establishes communication with other nodes within range
a network that provides a direct connection between each site and every other site
a network topology in which mesh nodes are connected by self-forming connections as the mesh nodes enter the network
a self-configuring, self-healing network that provides intelligent routing through the network to find an internet connection
a type of wireless networking that uses redundant and distributed nodes to provide greater reliability and range for any given wireless network
A netlike communications network in which there are at least two pathways to each node. A fully meshed network means that every node has a direct connection to every other node. Most mesh networks are partially meshed and require traversing nodes to go from each node to every other.
A communications network with least two pathways to each node, forming a net-like organization. When each node is connected to every other node, the network is said to be fully meshed. When only some of the nodes are linked, switching is required to make all the connections and the network is said to be partially meshed, or partially connected. close
A type of network where all points can directly communicate with each other in a single hop.
