(mah-HAH-doo-YAH-nah): the northern continent of Veda; also the name of the jatis stationed there. Mahaduyana is mostly covered by grassy areas and forests. It is home to very large, maneating sabretoothed tigers (the males are orange with black stripes, the females white with black stripes) originally cloned from Terran species. The adjective form is Mahaduyanan.
