(Impulse Magnetic Field) Following an acupuncture treatment a small magnet is taped over the treatment point and left for a period of approximately one week. This provides for a continuous treatment rather than intermittent and thus more efficacious. Also used in conjunction with repetitive movement like tennis elbow and skiers knees.
