this Nordic (Danish) name stems from the Great North, one of the most beautiful parts of Germany: Anglia in Schleswig Holstein, tucked right against the border to Denmark in the north. It was from this region that my folks "went west", immigrating to Canada, ultimately settling on the West Coast - in Vancouver.
