local management agreement. in television, an agreement by which a local station owner in a particular market manages some part of the business of another station, owned by another party, in the same market; also called a local marketing agreement.

Local marketing agreement, or local management agreement, an arrangement under which a station owner in one market may manage certain aspects of the business of another station in the same market which is owned by another party. Also known as a Time Brokerage Agreement.

Labor Market Area. As defined by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, an economically integrated geographic area within which individuals can reside and find employment within a reasonable distance or can readily change employment without changing their place of residence.
