The Isolators hockey team was created in 1996 by a group of friends in Ypsilanti, MI. The Isolators, originally named the Wolfpac Isolators, the friends had a one on one tournament to decide who the captain would be and Joshua Horton would go on to be the first and only captain. Jason Williams would be the assistant captain by vote of the friends.
