A fully implanted neurostimulation system for urinary control. A stopwatch sized electronic unit is implanted just under the skin in a fatty tissue ‘pocket' with electrodes near the sacral nerve where mild electric pulses (under patient control) help or eliminate urge incontinence, non-obstructive retention, and urgency-frequency for those who have failed or could not tolerate more conservative treatments. Patients are assessed and pre-tested before full implant. Units available for faecal incontinence and for pain.
