Definitions for "Hysterisis"
The resistance to deformation of the rubber in a tread block. The level of hysterisis in any given tyre dictates the heat it will generate in use, and therefore the rate at which it will deteriorate. High hysteresis is good as it helps the tyre resist "slip".
describes a type of error whereby the system response to an increasing input signal is not equal and opposite to a decreasing input signal of equal magnitude.
The difference in the output state of a mechanical system with respect to input history; a component of bi-directional repeatability.
The maximum difference in output within the range when the value is approached with increasing pressure and then with decreasing pressure for full range traverses.
