Hang Seng Index. The index is constituted of 33 companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. It is a capitalisation-weighted index that represents about 70 per cent of the total market cap of the Exchange.

Abbreviation for hierarchical scheduler infrastructure. A software library implemented as part of an operating system kernel that allows a hierarchy of schedulers to allocate CPU time. An important part of the HLS architecture.
