Hang Seng Index. The index is constituted of 33 companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. It is a capitalisation-weighted index that represents about 70 per cent of the total market cap of the Exchange.
Hang Seng Index. A market-capitalisation-weighted index, composed of 33 constituent stocks grouped under Finance, Utilities, Properties, and Commerce and Industry sub-indexes. HSI is the most important stock market index in Hong Kong.
Hispanic Serving Institution. An IHE that is an eligible institution at the time of application, has an enrollment of undergraduate full-time equivalent students that is at least 25 percent Hispanic students and provides assurance that not less that 50 percent of the institution's Hispanic students are low-income individuals.
Abbreviation for hierarchical scheduler infrastructure. A software library implemented as part of an operating system kernel that allows a hierarchy of schedulers to allocate CPU time. An important part of the HLS architecture.
