The highest of the high waters (or single high water) of any specified tidal day due to the declination Al effects of the Moon and Sun.
(HHW): The higher of the two high waters of any TIDAL DAY. The single HIGH WATER occurring daily during periods when the TIDE is DIURNAL is considered to be HIGHER HIGH WATER. See Figure 11.
The higher of the high waters of any specified day. In a semidiurnal tidal regime there will be two high tides a day, and in a diurnal regime there may be just the one (or one main high tide and a minor one).
