Herzog is a strategy game released by Techno Soft in Japan for the MSX computer in 1988. A version is also known to exist for the NEC PC-88 computer. Herzog Zwei is the sequel, released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.
Herzog is a 1964 novel by Saul Bellow. Herzog was a major reason Bellow won the 1976 Nobel Prize in Literature. In a nod to the epistolary novels of early British literature, letters from the protagonist constitute much of the text in Herzog.
