Gottschalk, Prince of Vends, (Latin Godescalcus) (d. June 7, 1066), son of Udo, Prince of the Abrodites, established a Slavic kingdom on Elbe in North-East Germany. The kingdom was destroyed by Bernard II, Duke of Saxony and land given to Ratibor.
