Gallo is a light (5% alcohol by volume, 4.4% in the U.S.) lager, brewed in Guatemala City by Cervecería Centro Americana. It is Guatemala's oldest continually produced beer, dating back to 1896. It is also the most famous beer in the country, and has become part of Guatemalan popular culture.
