Definitions for "Fullness"
Draperies made up with deep "gatherings" have fullness - usually requiring not less than 50% additional fabric, measured at head and foot.
This is the ratio of fabric width to the width of the window. Curtains are usually at least twice the window width.
The proportion of the amount of fabric used to the finished width. i.e.. sheers are usually triple full whereas lined drapes are often 2.5:1 fullness.
