Definitions for "freewoman"
The Freewoman, first published on 23 November 1911, was a feminist weekly edited by Dora Marsden and Mary Gawthorpe, with a strong literary orientation. It was very supportive of what may be described in the context of the time as sexual reform, which included not only "free love" but also tolerance at minimum of homosexuality, both male and female.
