( FF)- A control character (ASCII: 12), which typically causes a printer to skip to a new page. The FF character is not normally entered from the keyboard, but in many cases it can be generated, if necessary, by holding the Alt key, pressing the numeric pad keys 012, and releasing the Alt key, or by the Ctrl-L key combination.
