Pertains to a repeated echo recurring at a rate of about 10 repetitions per second, common to small, bare-walled acoustical spaces. See "hand-clap test." Compare "plastery," "slap."
A Bass response often cause by the subwoofer's enclosure being larger than it is rated x-max. To much air allows the subwoofers to flutter uncontrollable. Often an EQ can help this.
