The lowest price a seller is willing to accept for the quality, condition, and volume of product involved in the transaction. Floor prices protect the seller in a declining market.
The lowest price limit at which a security can trade on a single trading day. For securities trading in the SET, the Floor Price is based on the SET Daily Price Limit which currently allows the price of each security to decrease by not more than 30% of the previous closing price. The Floor Price is applied to each trading board utilizing the AOM system, except for the Foreign Board and the Big Lot Board.
The lowest price prepared to be accepted by a seller.
