Faber is a main character in Ray Bradbury's 1953 novel, Fahrenheit 451. Faber was named after a brand of pencil, Eberhard Faber.
(aka Faberrebe). Derived from the crossing of the Weissburgunder and Muller-Thurgau with the aim of achieving frost resistance. High acid grape used for blending in the Rheinhessen region of Germany.
