Psoriasis characterized by severe redness and shedding of the body surface.
The least common but most severe form of psoriasis. It is characterized by extensive skin reddening and scaling. This painful inflammatory psoriasis often covers roughly eighty percent of the entire body.
The least common form of psoriasis; causes widespread reddening and scaling of the skin; may be a reaction to severe sunburn or to taking corticosteroids (cortisone) or other medications. It also can be caused by a prolonged period of increased activity of psoriasis that is poorly controlled.
