Enos or Enosh (Hebrew: אֱנוֹשׁ, Standard , Tiberian ; "mortal man; sick") is a biblical name in the genealogies of Adam, and consequently referred to within the genealogies of Chronicles, and of Jesus in the Gospel of Luke. He is the son of Seth, father of Kenan, and grandson of Adam (Gen. 5:6-11; Luke 3:38). He supposedly lived nine hundred and five years.

Enos was an American television series from the early 1980s that aired on the CBS network. A spinoff of The Dukes of Hazzard, Enos focused on the adventures of Enos Strate, a former small-town deputy in Hazzard County, now having moved to Los Angeles to join the L.A.P.D. Each episode included new adventures of Enos and his black partner Turk, and usually began and ended with Enos writing a letter to Daisy Duke telling her about his adventures in Los Angeles.
