A symbol first introduced by G.I. Gurdjieff that is created by dividing a circle into 9 parts numbered 1-9 with 9 at the top. The division of 1/7 yields a periodic decimal .142857. By connecting these numbers in that order yields the first symbol. Also by connecting 9,3, and 6 gives a triangle. This symbol represents the law of three inside of the law of seven.
