An agreement between a producer and a user of computer software that specifies the terms of use putatively agreed to by the user. The software producer specifies the parameters and limitations on use, which comprise a legally binding contract. Some companies use the EULA as the sole means of disclosure of a program’s behavior (including bundling, use of the user’s data, etc.).
