Three dots (...) that indicate an omission.
dots . . . used to indicate that material has been deleted from a quotation. Ellipses should be avoided or used extremely carefully by debaters lest there be suspicion that crucial material has been left out.
A row of spaced periods (. . .) used to indicate words or sentences that have been omitted. Also used in tables of contents to align heads with their page numbers.
A series of three periods (...) which is perfect for getting rid of inconvenient parts of quotes while maintaining pure creationist integrity.
