Dungannon is a town in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. It is the third largest town in the County (next to Omagh & Strabane) and has a population of 11,139 people in the 2001 Census. In August 2006, Dungannon won the Ulster In Bloom Best Kept Town award for the fifth time.
Dungannon was a former United Kingdom Parliament constituency, in Ireland, returning one MP. It was an original constituency represented in Parliament when the Union of Great Britain and Ireland took effect on 1 January, 1801.
