Downsview is an area in the north end of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and also the name of a Toronto Transit Commission subway station in the area (see Downsview (TTC)). Downsview was originally a farm located in the 1870's near the present-day intersection of Keele Street and Wilson Avenue. It now extends beyond the intersection of Sheppard Avenue and Dufferin Street, in the former City of North York.
Downsview is a station of the Yonge-University-Spadina line of the subway system of Toronto, Canada. It is the northern terminus of its western branch, the Spadina line. It is also a ‘Vivastation’ on the Orange line of York Region’s Viva bus rapid transit system.
Downsview was a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada. It was created for the 1963 provincial election, and was retained until redistribution in 1999. Downsview was located in North York, which was previously part of Metropolitan Toronto and is now part of the City of Toronto.
