A correlation between a quantified exposure (dose) and the proportion of a population that demonstrates a specific effect (response).
The quantitative relationship between exposure to a substance, usually expressed as a dose, and the extent of the biologic effect or response.
The relationship between the dose of a pollutant and the response (or effect) it produces on a biological system.
