A fine, delicious, rather fat, large fish with a silver hue and blue and gold iridescence. Around the eye area there is a line resembling a golden eyebrow and for this reason it's also known as gilt-head bream. The head is rounded and the skin around the mouth area is shiny. A regular body of average width. The dorado can weigh up to 2.5 kilos and can be cooked in any number of ways. Photo kindly provided by: http://agrino.org/fishing/htmldocs/frswtrfish.html
