A hand drawn or computer generated layout of the die cut shape or shapes on a clear or matte finish acetate or Mylar.
Vertical or horizontal marks on the extrudate and in the finished product caused by damaged die elements or by contamination held up in the die land.
A longitudinal depression or protrusion formed on the surface of drawn or extruded material. Die lines are present to some degree in all extrusions and are caused by a roughening of the die bearing.
