A key line needed to make the die
A longitudinal depression or protrusion formed on the surface of drawn or extruded material. Die lines are present to some degree in all extrusions and are caused by a roughening of the die bearing.
Raised lines, which appear on a coin as a result of polish lines on the die. Also see: Die striations, Polished die
The outline of the die cut; often required to match artwork properly to the finished shape.
