Deng (Chinese) or Đặng (Vietnamese) is an East Asian surname. It is a transcription of 邓 (simplified Chinese character) or 鄧 (traditional). It is transliterated as Dèng in pinyin and Teng in Wade-Giles.

The Deng are a fictional alien species in the Concordiat universe described in Keith Laumer's Bolo books. They are the primary adversaries in the series.
