All infotype records have a validity period, which consists of a "From" date and a "To" date. Teh validity period determines the length of time the infotype record is valid within the system. Delimit means you want to change the validity period to a date sooner than the existing end date of the infotype. By delimiting infotypes, you build a history of what has happened to an employee.
