HM Prison Dartmoor is located in Princetown, high on Dartmoor in the English county of Devon. Its high granite walls dominate this area of the moor. It is easily distinguished at night by its bright red light.
The Whiteface Dartmoor and the Greyface Dartmoor are descendants of sheep that grazed on the exposed uplands of Dartmoor, in the south west of the United Kingdom, in the 17th and 18th centuries.
