An isoflavone found in soy products. Soy isoflavones are being studied in the prevention of cancer.
An isoflavonoid derived from soy products having antitumoral properties. It is one of the phytoestrogens along with genistein, seen to have favourable effects on breast cancer, osteoporosis, and menopause-related issues. Excessive dosages of all phytoestrogens may have negative repercussions including thyroid problems; further studies are ongoing. Fermented soy products have higher concentrations of daidzein. Phytin, another element in soy products can inhibit the absorption of minerals - another reason to carefully regulate your intake. find all NHC pages containing: daidzein
