The years of service for which a WRS participant has received credit under the WRS. This includes all service for which contributions have been made, purchased service and any retirement service credit granted by the employer prior to the date the employer joined the WRS.

Service for which retirement credit is earned through paid employment in a regularly established position with an employer participating in the FRS Pension Plan, as well as any additional service that may be credited under the plan. (The term may also be used to refer to service for which retirement credit is earned under any other defined benefit plan, such as one of the closed retirement systems.)
Service you earn by being paid for work in a regularly established position with an employer that participates in the FRS; and additional service you may purchase.

The total amount of time you work for an Employer as a member of the CRP (assuming that all required contributions are made during that time), expressed in years and twelfths of years. If you had earned Creditable Service under the definition(s) of one or more of the prior plans, that will also be counted as Creditable Service under the CRP.
