Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. CPCU is a designation given by the American Institute for Property and Liability Underwriters. In order to receive the designation, an underwriter must have at least three years experience and pass an exam.
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. A designation conferred in recognition of the attainment of certain standards of education and proficiency in the art and science of property and casualty insurance underwriting.
