Books, articles, lecture notes and other materials faculty require all students enrolled in a class to use. Some items may be electronically accessible via the Course Reserves Catalog; print copies may be checked out for short periods from the Reserves Desk on the 1st floor of Shields Library.

These materials are usually kept together in a particular area of the library, such as behind the circulation desk.
