Definitions for "Cleansers"
We get cleansing milks or creams, depending on their viscosity or percentage of fatty substances. They are generally O/W emulsions. Thanks to the emulsifier surrounding them, the micella in the dispersed phase easily coat blush or dirt on the skin. They are rinsed off with a face lotion. Some products are rinsed off with water: these are foams, formed from surfactants and softening ingredients. For cleansing eyes, there are special eye makeup removal products, most often in lotion form.
Contain little or no soap or detergent, usually with an oily base. Meant to be applied, then removed with wiping or rinsing.
also known as a face wash and to be used twice a day, before shaving in the morning and at the end of the day, it should be the first step in maintaining a clean, balanced complexion.
