Definitions for "Catch-all Email Account"
A type of email account designed to "catch" any email messages addressed to your domain (@yourdomain.com) but not addressed to an actual POP3 email account or email alias. Every hosting plan comes with one catchall account as well as a certain number of POP3 email accounts.
An email account in which an email of the form, [email protected], will go to you. For example, [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected], will all be sent to the account (some hosts allow you to have these sent to different accounts) set up for you.
