Definitions for "Canvas Transfer"
The process of taking a poster and transferring it with an emulsion to a sheet of prepared canvas. This techniques gives the poster the illusion of being painted on canvas. (Several techniques can also be applied that can give either an aged/cracked look or simulate brushstrokes).
A reproduction in which inks are chemically lifted off a piece of paper and applied to a piece of canvas sometimes with the ability to replicate the texture and appearance of the original painting.
